MY STORY
A journey shaped by people, books, and possibility.
I grew up in Sakharpa, a village in Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra. My father served in the Indian Army. After his retirement, he opened a small grocery shop in our village. A flood in 1983 swept that shop away, changing the direction of our family’s life.
After school, I moved to Pune to continue my education, supported by Vidyarthi Sahayyak Samiti. The journey from a small village to a city brought challenges, encouragement, and encounters that I still carry with me.
Life later took me to the United States. Technology became my profession, while books, writing, and a curiosity about people remained an important part of my life.
